Unexpected color pairings, pattern play, and bold florals with tropical undertones combine for a vibrant, fashion forward table for the evenings theme, “Make a Splash.” Inspired by the theme, I wanted to bring together emerging creatives from the South to showcase a multitude of talent and truly make a splash with color choice and combination, pattern play and unconventional florals to capture a fresh, unexpected yet classic look. Together, we were recognized as one of the best tables by Architectural Digest.

A fearless mix of china patterns was sourced from sponsor, Replacements, Ltd. Lavender lined salad plates by Versace for Rosenthal pair with deconstructed tobacco leaf dinner and bread plates in Garden de Printemps by Raynaud. Heirloom sterling silver flatware in Etruscan by Gorham, and crystal glassware in Aquarius Amethyst by Bryce, also from Replacements, Ltd., compliment the unconventional china pairings. The backdrop for these layers was Ferrick Mason’s first floral design, the melody print, which resulted in a vivid custom tablecloth accentuated by a diamond knot fringe provided by Fringe Market. Custom monogrammed lavender linens provided by Leontine Linens emphasized the tropical undertones in MetaFlora NYC centerpiece.
